There are a lot of small accidents that can stain your clothes, and one of the toughest stains to get rid of is blood. However, if you have stained one of your favorite clothing items with blood, don’t throw it away, because with patience and careful attention you’ll wear it again.
Wipe immediately the stained area with a paper towel, from the center of the stain to the exterior, and press it lightly so that the dirt to impregnate in the paper towel.
Then mix a spoonful of laundry detergent or stain solution with a cup of hydrogen peroxide in a small bowl. Another good mixture is ammonia and water. Soak a clean cloth in the solution, squeeze it and then gently clean the spot.
Look at the washing instructions on the label of the material. See if your coat needs special treatment.
Wash the clothing item in cold water and let it dry naturally, and it’s advisable to hand wash it, otherwise you risk that the clothing item to be stained.
