The bathroom should be the cleanest room in a home, therefore it is imperative to know how you maintain it. We present some methods so you can clean bathroom surfaces and get rid of odors.
Cleaning toilet bowl
Clean its cover with a cloth over which you sprinkled baking soda. Then, remove the baking soda with a damp cloth. Clean the bowl with a mix of baking soda and white vinegar. After this process add a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil for a pleasant scent.
Cleaning the sink and bathtub
Even if the sink and tub seem clean, they must be disinfected regularly. If they are sticky, you can clean them with a mixture made of detergent, vinegar and one tablespoon of baking soda.
Curtains stains and mold are removed with a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. Refresh leak smell pouring hot water with lemon. If you have copper pipes in the bathroom, you can clean them if you rub with a slice of lemon over which you sprinkled salt.
Cleaning tiles
Ceramic tiles can be disinfected if you clean them with a mixture of detergent and hot water. Lemon juice can help also. Tiled floors will regain their shine if they are washed with water and vinegar.
Carpet cleaning
You can regain carpet shining in the bathroom if you will brush them with a solution made of water and a tablespoon of baking soda.
Pleasant odors
After you clean all the surfaces in the bathroom apply on the sink, tub, toilet bowl and different areas of the bath one drop of eucalyptus, lavender or mint essential oil. An alternative is vanilla, cinnamon, cloves and citrus peels because they have antibacterial properties.
