How to clean suede shoes

If you want to clean at home suede shoes or bags you should have the following items:

– quality eraser (ordinary pencil)
– suede special brush (it has very strong bristles)
– damp cloth
– white wine vinegar

First, use an eraser to rub the stains with care, not to ruin the material. Brush suede with special brush. Pour a little vinegar on a damp cloth and rub the stains with this cloth, then let it dry. Vinegar smell may persist for a few days after cleaning.

If suede has an oil stain, try to use talcum powder to absorb the oil. Sprinkle powder over the stain and let it work overnight, then scrub with a special brush.

Another cleaning technique is to put stained object over a pot of boiling water. The steam will soften and hydrate the suede, which you can clean after with the same special brush.
