For the longest time, I bought store-bought cleaning products that weren’t necessarily the safest nor the cheapest. They advertised these to be all-purpose cleaners and that’ where it concerned me. Wiping counters, bookshelves, walls, grimy surfaces and more didn’t seem so effective. I was basically spraying chemicals around my home, thinking that I was cleaning it. I tried to make my own version using only natural ingredients. Not only it was cheaper but it was so much healthier to use in every corner of my house. If you are tired of always buying chemicals that only make things worse, keep reading. Here you will find a simple and quick recipe you can make at home to have an all-purpose and chemical-free homemade cleaner.
The ingredients you will need for this recipe:
– 1/2 cup of white vinegar
– 3 tablespoons of baking soda
– 2 drops of tea tree
– 2 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
– a spray bottle
– water
Here are the instructions to make this homemade cleaner:
Start pouring the white vinegar in the spray bottle and then add slowly the baking soda.
Next, add the essential oils too and begin filling the bottle with water.
Shake very well to incorporate all the ingredients and there you have it.
Didn’t I say it was simple and quick? Now, to use, make sure you shake the bottle before spraying and if you plan on using it on fabrics, make a spot test to be safe.
For me, this was a great natural alternative because it keeps my home healthy and it eliminates the bacteria which is satisfying when you are cleaning consciously.
