In order that the kitchen hood to better vacuum fumes and food smell, filters should be cleaned frequently from grease deposits. Here’s how to clean the cooker hood quickly and efficiently!
Clean the filters
Metal filters can be removed and washed with water and detergent. Use a strong product to clean the cooker and spray it on each filter individually. Wait a few minutes for product to act, and then rinse with water. Paper or coal filters are replaced periodically.
Do not forget the fan blades
If they are detachable, fan blades must be removed and washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Do not forget that they can be dirty, stained with grease or full of hard oil droplets.
Do not use abrasive sponges
The exterior of the kitchen hood is most often made of metal. Do not use abrasive sponges because this material will cause scratches and stainless steel will look old. After you sprayed with ordinary dish detergent, wipe with a damp cloth to remove both dirt and foam.
Clean glass pieces
The glass hood and bulbs should also be maintained. Remove them with a clean, damp cloth and then remove excess accumulated fat using sponge. Clean the window and bulbs using a glass cleaner product.
